Why You Should Move to Your Moon or IC Line in 2024 Before It’s Too Late…
I don’t know about you but something tells me not to trust the “Year of the Black Swan”

This spring, Jupiter is making a once-in-a-13ish-year conjunction with Uranus, the game-changer and the planet of “the plot twist.” The world is going to look so different by the end of 2024. A fashion trend will start with the Meta Raybans that will catch on due to Jupiter’s influence in Gemini. For more than half the year, Pluto will be in Aquarius. A significant amount of time compared to its 3-month entrance last year in 2023. When Pluto went into Aquarius news of bank crashes started. I was working at a religious organization when their church randomly burned down. Mars is going retrograde at the end of this year (during the US elections season) while making the first opposition to Pluto in Aquarius. 2024 is not playing…and neither should you. At times such as these, no one and nowhere is safe, but… is that really true?

The moon in astrology signifies home, family, emotions and your emotional triggers. It’s associated with what you need to feel safe and secure and taken care of. It’s also your unconscious habits and response to the world and life’s hardest blows. My moon is in the 2nd house. Automatically, I think I can buy my way out of something. I often think “Well lemme just eat first, and then I’ll figure out what to do next.” I’ll get random marks on my body because I was unconsciously scratching my body (Mars is also in conjunction with my moon.) I recently just discovered a new line in my astrocartography chart that I had never considered before: Moon trine MC. I have this trine in my natal chart but Im considering moving to a location where this energy is accentuated. This line suggests support for my career and public image. I realized that I absolutely cannot be in any extremely cold location and to be frank, I don’t know how I did it for so long when I lived in Canada…I mean I’m already African and then I have my moon in a fire element; no heat is torture physically, mentally and astrologically. If your moon is in an air sign, you most likely need to be in places where you can connect with people in the community or go to the damn park despite a lockdown. If it’s in a fire sign like mine, you need to have a home that either has a gym or at least one in your immediate vicinity/complex. My point is: 2024 is shaping up to be the year of discomfort, and while some of that is good to push us to grow, it’s harder to grow when you don’t have the things you absolutely need for a solid foundation. Enter — your IC and Moon Lines.
I’ve spoken about the Mars line and the Venus lines before but arguably these two lines -the IC and Moon- should be where an individual chooses to live in a more permanent sense. The IC in astrology is a concentrated point of the 4th house so the themes in your life surrounding private emotions, emotional well-being, home, roots, ancestry, family legacy, grandparents/parents, etc, are even more heightened on this line. Moving to this line can suggest that regardless of what happens in your life, you’ll somehow, always, at the very least, feel some way about “home.” And I don’t know about you but feeling “at home” is super important. Now, if you have a horrible IC or Moon setup, then no… don’t just live there if there is no mitigating or softening influence by another planet because you won’t “feel at home”, you’ll feel the opposite. I used to live near my Saturn line and my Saturn is a bit of a hot topic among the council of Nyhir’vana. And not only that, it took me forever to move away from there because Saturn makes you stick to something and put in the work (and I wasn’t even that close to the line. Ugh.) Anyway, in your astrocartography chart, there is always some kind of Moon Trine or IC Sextile, something, that can contribute to better living conditions than where you currently are now. These kinds of lines are disgustingly underestimated. They have the ability to soften situations that really could have spelled the end for you.
Imagine *insert catastrophic event here* happened in your location or nearby it and you’re living on a Uranus line. Let’s say Uranus on the IC line in Cancer. And in your natal chart, your Mars in Cancer is also conjunct your IC. I would hope you at least live there alone and not with family because I don’t even want to think about what random misfortune they could be exposed to. But. If all of that took place on a Saturn Trine IC in Libra, you would probably be like Rick Ross “making water out of H2O.”
Alright, all jokes aside; my point is, see how you would have the ability to even joke amid a serious “black swan event” because Saturn is the planet of contingency plans, and in a trine to the IC, it’s an energy of building a fortress for you and your family. Something that stands the test of time.

Okay, but what if your IC is in really bad shape like the first example? Well, use your Moon line. One of the two lines has got to give you results. No, it won't prevent everything because that’s not reality. However, it’s possible to move to a place where Jupiter or Venus is on your moon, even if you can’t get it to make a good aspect. Yes, planets just on the line are not always nice. A couple of years ago, I went on a business vacation to my “Jupiter on the MC line” once and Jupiter, being the ruler of my 2nd house, just brought out the money problems I was having at the time. But, if you can exercise some damage control and position yourself in certain proximities or areas of a line like this; it’s better than being a sitting duck living on a moon line and when you know you have Scorpio moon. At that point, you’re asking for a “kill or be killed” situation to happen.
Going back to the Moon Trine IC area where I now know I eventually want to live, like very very soon, let’s pose a hypothetical internet blackout… Sure, I wouldn’t be able to publish a new issue of the MO’CA magazine, but something about being on this line will inject an energy of success (and joy since it’s a fire trine) regardless, that both benefits my home and my career.
If many people were suffering from something, like a mass event of some kind that induces fear or sadness in my location, I would most likely be in the position to help lots of people look at the bigger picture or the truth of something. I may even be looked at as some sort of public figure who is passionately raising morale. Or if there was someone who was trying to ruin my reputation, the whole city would probably rally behind and support me. Heck, I’d probably even have family members that I swear hated me and never check for me come out of nowhere to show their support. But see how in that last example I’m not excluded from negative things happening? It’s just that if I use my intuition (moon) and let the situation wax and wane like the phases of the moon, I come out the winner. Regardless of the scenario and how the universe wants to pull the energy to make things happen here, I couldn’t care less. All I’d need to know is the end result is Moon Trine MC. That’s it.

Being as private as I am, I most likely won’t be the most content living on my Moon trine MC line. A major con is that it’s very… invasive. People have easy access to things like your identity, net worth, marital status, and anything that happens at home might end up in everyone’s mouth the next day… and they think it's cute and fun. It’s almost like my public displays of emotional resilience might become entertainment for people. It brings them joy and while that can be inspiring to people who truly need an example of emotional mastery, it can also be quite annoying for private individuals who like to live life with their finger ready on the “Ghost mode” and “DNB” buttons. (My MC is square my Sun). But for me, it was among the best choices when considering Moon and IC lines to relocate to during a year I don’t trust. It’s as good as it gets unless I wanna live on the other side of the world in New Zealand.
UPDATE: AI ended up moving to Los Angeles first for strategic career purposes, but mark my words, I will move to this line in this decade!
In my personal opinion, everyone who feels even a tinge of unhappiness where they live should really look at their chart and gear themselves to relocate when Jupiter goes into Gemini in May. Before Mars slows down into a retrograde in November/December and shows you the worst of your situation. When Mars goes retrograde it’s like we get an intense desire to take some sort of action, but we’re stuck. You could be smart (Jupiter in Gemini) and live somewhere where the retrograde might play out like your friend shows up at your place in the middle of the night in the climax of an abusive relationship, and you’re helping them by calling the police vs. finding yourself in the middle of a stampede in Times Square for a cause that’s ultimately above your jurisdiction anyway. It all depends on where you choose to live…but, no pressure. Uranus in Taurus is very prominent for me this year, so maybe it’s just me… But still, even if it wasn’t, I’d choose another year to play with the odds.
If I were you, I wouldn’t trust this year.
Godspeed.
